Watch out Red Lobster, there’s new cheddar biscuit in town! These delicious creations go beautifully with Bone Broth soup or Paleo chili.
Now, I know biscuits are not Paleo…but these adhere to the primal template. Besides, everyone needs a little indulgence once in a while.
Cheesy Primal Biscuits
¼ cup butter, melted
1/3 cup coconut flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
1tsp chopped Rosemary
Blend together eggs, butter, salt and onion powder. Combine coconut flour with baking powder and whisk into batter until there are no lumps. Fold in cheese. Drop batter by the spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. This recipe makes about 10 biscuits.
